Mint Group Excited To Appoint MD For Its SA Division

Global technology innovator Mint Group has appointed Wilhelm van Rensburg as the Managing Director (MD) of its South African division owing to the rapid expansion experienced by the group.

“Mint is continuously pushing the boundaries of innovation with a rapid increase in demand for our solutions, which are driving transforming across the FSI, education and healthcare industries. With great innovation, however, comes the responsibility to ensure sustainable quality and ongoing disruption, hence the need for an MD that will seamlessly manage both,” explains Mint Group CEO Carel du Toit.

He added that Microsoft recognised Mint Group as a top 1% global technology innovator for the third year running. The organisation also won both the EMEA and global partner-to-partner innovation awards at the Microsoft Inspire worldwide partner conference in Las Vegas and was named as the South African Microsoft partner of the year for FY19.

Mint Group Head of HR Lauren Clark explains that van Rensburg’s experience as COO for Mint Group armed him with the organisational knowledge and insight required to serve as MD and drive Mint’s values both within the group of companies and externally.

With a passion for technology Wilhelm started writing code from home at a mere sixteen years old, founded his first company straight out of university, and ventured on to head up enterprise software provider Intervate’s Coastal business.

Following this, Wilhelm moved on to manage Mint Coastal as the COO and is now continuing his journey of innovation as the MD of Mint SA.
